Pastry chef and caterer since 1955, Boncolac Food Service is the staple brand for frozen products.
Born in the South-West of France, it embodies the history of a recognized know-how. Humanely rich in its cooperative culture, Boncolac defends its values of gourmet traditions while having a taste for adventure.
1955 : Boncolac is founded in the heart of the Basque Country. The company manufactures ice cream and a renowned chocolate drink, ‘Boncolac’.
1971 : The 3A Groupe dairy cooperative buys Boncolac and moves the company’s headquarters to Toulouse.
1970’s : Boncolac expands its range of ice creams, frozen cakes and frozen pastries.
1998 : Boncolac launches its catering business by purchasing France-Cocktail, based in the Agropole d’Agen since 1992.
2007 : Inauguration of the expansion of the historic Bonloc site, with a third production line.
2011 : Boncolac sells its ice cream business. The company strengthens its pastry division by acquiring Générale Patissière, which specialises in the bakery, viennoiserie and pastry activity with factories in Montblanc and Rivesaltes.
2012 : Boncolac strengthens its frozen catering business with the acquisition of Terre de Lys, based in Aire-sur-la-Lys.
2014 : Inauguration of the new catering factory in Agen with bread and appetizers production.
2018 : Boncolac inaugurates its new Innovation Centre in Bonloc. The company invests in new product development tools after recruiting a team of chefs.
2022 : Boncolac leaves the Sodiaal group and acquires Mag’M, becoming the Boncolac group.
2023 : Boncolac acquires Proper Cornish and Cakesmiths and the group is renamed Onoré.
