For this chocolate pecan tart, Boncolac Food Service drew inspiration from the classic American specialty from the southern United States (Kentucky), traditionally enjoyed at Thanksgiving!
This pastry features a buttery cocoa shortcrust pastry filled with a frangipane walnut cream and pecan nuts, topped with a generous decoration combining the crunch of pecans and the sweetness of chocolate chips. Preparation Instructions – Chocolate Pecan Tart
OVEN
Preheat the oven to 180°C for 10 minutes.
Remove the tart from the freezer and take off the transparent flowpack. Place it on an oven-safe tray and warm for approximately 10 minutes. Let the tart cool for 15 minutes before serving.
COLD STORAGE AT +4°C
Remove the tart from the freezer and take off the transparent flowpack. Place it on a serving plate. Thaw in the refrigerator for about 3 hours 30 minutes.
