An authentic Parisian dessert, the famous Bourdaloue Pear Tart takes its name from the street where it was first created in the 1850s: rue Bourdaloue.
With its chic, delicious look, our chefs take you back in time to the 19th century, giving this tart a modern, refined twist.
As such, our delicious tart with its fluted edge, is made with a shortcrust pastry encasing an almond cream filling  topped with pear halves in syrup, carefully arranged by hand.
Furthermore, Boncolac has ensured that this tart has a perfect hold to make it easier to plate up as it is precut.
This can save restaurateurs a considerable amount of time!

HOW TO PREPARE

IN THE OVEN

Preheat the oven to 180 °C for about 10 minutes.
Take the tart out of the freezer and remove all packaging. Then, place the tart on a baking tray and heat in the oven for 10 minutes.
Allow to stand for about 10 minutes before serving.
